Spring break is right around the corner and if you haven’t done so already, now is the time to start preparing!  The typical spring break spots are nice and warm to get you out of the winter funk but it’s also used as another excuse to #party.  If you are going someplace warm and sunny you may want to hit up some of these stores as they will make sure you stay on trend this spring break.

Round Towel Co.

If you have been on Instagram lately, you would have noticed the “Round Towel” fad that is going on.  Well, the Round Towel Company is a great place to buy one!  They offer many different patterns and prints, some of which look super real, like this kiwi towel.  Don’t want to wait for the towel to come in the mail?  If you’re in a pinch and don’t want to wait for the towel to come in the mail, then look no further than your closest Nordstrom. The retailer offers the Round Towel Co. in their department stores, so you can pick one up right away and not have to wait for the mailman to drop it off!

S’well Bottles

Already have a S’well Bottle and love it?  Well, I know you don’t have the Lilly Pulitzer version… at least not yet.  These bottles are great for keeping your water ice cold while you are soaking up the sun on your spring break getaway and are now are offered in limited edition Lilly Pulitzer prints!  There is one catch, you can only get them for a limited time at Starbucks. Lucky for you, the bottle launches February 15th at 4,000 Starbucks locations around the US.  Make sure you pick up a bottle before your trip because you’ll have multiple uses for it.  Can’t find a bottle? Don’t worry, Starbucks announced that later this spring they will carry the S’well water bottles on their website.  Unfortunately, this won’t be in time for spring break, but at least if you want one you still can get it!

Figleaves

If you’re like me and have a fuller chest, then finding swimsuits can be a nightmare. You’re probably just as upset that Victoria’s Secret discontinued their swimwear line as I am. Well, look no further! Figleaves is a great company that provides swimsuits for all body types.  They focus on using bra sizes for their swimwear as opposed to using general sizing.  They also have special pages on their website for those with a larger chest (DD+ in both swimwear and lingerie).  No longer will you struggle to find the perfect size swimsuit or bikini top due to your chest size.

DIFF Eyewear:

You cannot forget to pack your sunglasses, especially if you’re expecting to be out in the sun all day.  DIFF Eyewear will not only get the job done, but they are super fashion forward and totally affordable offering many different frames, patterns, and lens colors.  If that doesn’t interest you then maybe their BUY ONE GIVE ONE program will.  For every pair of sunglass purchased DIFF Eyewear donates a pair of reading glasses to someone in need with help from the Eyes on Africa charity.  This spring break, don’t  just buy a pair of sunglasses for the fashion but buy them to help a greater cause.  You won’t regret your purchase!

ShopElyseByNicole:

Whether you’re on spring break or now, Jewelry is always a must-have  ShopElyseByNicole is the cutest little shop on Etsy that has affordable and adorable pieces.  She keeps up with all the current trends while using colors that fit the season. Can you say yes chokers?  Her new line will launch soon and is full of bright and airy colors that are perfect for spring break into summer.  You can also check her out on Instagram where she gives updates and behind the scene looks.  Need an order ASAP?  Don’t worry, she is great to work with and can assist you for all of your jewelry needs.

Castify:

There is no way you can go on spring break without having your phone properly protected.  Castify is perfect for all your cell phone needs!  They have the cutest artwork by illustrators from all over.  Want a cute pattern or fashion illustration?  Or maybe you want to create your own case using your own pictures. Well, Castify has it allThey also have a hard case available that is perfect for those who tend to drop their phone a lot while they are out.  On top of regular phone cases, they offer wallet cases that hold your cards without having to carry a huge bag around. Let’s face it, you want to carry as little as possible on Spring Break. My favorite illustrators on the site are Melsy’s Illustrations, Josefina Fernandez, Shaughnessy Keely, Lyubomir Dochev and The Skinny Confidential to name a few

Now that you’ve got all your essentials all you need is a cute beach bag to put them in.  Whether you choose to support an artist on Society6, or go with your favorite designer, just make sure the sun and sand won’t ruin it.   Hope you have an amazing trip!

Hey Everyone! My names Nichole and I'm currently a part-time grad student at LIM College in NYC working towards my masters in Fashion Marketing.  I have previously attended West Virginia University graduating with my undergrad in Fashion Design and Merchandising.  Being from Central Connecticut, I had no thrill to spend 4 years in college near home, therefore crossing Parsons, FIT and RISD off my list of schools to attend.  Unltimatly I chose WVU with my passion of wanting to attend UCONN but they did not have a fashion program.  I have loved fashion since I was young and knew what I wanted to do since middle school.  My love of art at a young age helped expand my love of fashion into a love of fashion illustration and has allowed me to sell artwork on Society6 under the name Nic's Nacks.  My dream is to one day own my own company/brand, but until then I am going along with wherever life takes me.  You can catch me on here writing about personal struggles/experiences along with Fashion.  Hopefully I can inspire you! xoxo Nichole
