Tara is a sophomore, who transferred to Lehigh last year, after spending the fall semester of her freshman year at Providence College. She is currently involved in the Best Buddies Club, Colleges Against Cancer, and Microfinance Club. This year, Tara was part of a business group that won 2nd place in the PwC xACT competition. Also this year, Tara was an Orientation Leader for transfer students.

Why did you became an OL and are you glad you did?
“I became an OL kind of on a whim. I applied right after I transferred
here and by some miracle got accepted into the program. It was an
amazing experience where I got to know some of the greatest people I
will ever meet. I definitely encourage anyone that is interested to
apply!”
Things you’re looking forward to most this year?
“Meeting new people, going through recruitment and getting my study abroad plans in order for this coming summer!”

“Great reputation for the school and overall atmosphere of the campus.”
What advice would you give to first year students?
“Get involved on campus. Is it a great way to meet people and give back to the Lehigh community. “

“The people. Everyone here is incredibly nice and welcoming.”
