Nicholas Comas and Becca Fryer: Lehigh's Romeo and Juliet (On Stage)

In case you missed Romeo and Juliet this past weekend, here is a little bit about the actors who played Romeo and Juliet.

Name: Nicholas Comas

Major: Computer Engineering and Theater

Hometown: Scarsdale, NY

When did you get started in theater?

I started acting back in middle school, and have been doing it ever since.

What is your favorite play you have been in?

My favorite show is probably a tie between "Romeo & Juliet" and "Something from Nothing"

What is your favorite line from Romeo and Juliet?

I've always loved the line: "I'll tell thee, ere thou ask it me again", but I also have the sense of humor of a middle schooler so whenever the friar said "But come" I had to actively try to not giggle.

Hardest line to remember:

Having to learn all of the names for the invitation to the party was pretty difficult. Fairly certain I invited someone new to the Capulet's each night.

Are you going to do more plays after this?

Definitely. I really love playing different characters and being on stage, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Name: Becca Fryer

Major: Psychology and maybe Spanish

Hometown: Larchmont, NY

When did you get started in theater?

I first started getting serious about doing plays in high school, but I used to do musicals in middle school (with all the other cool kids)!

What is your favorite play you have been in? Romeo and Juliet!!!

What is your favorite line from Romeo and Juliet?

"My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep. The more I give to thee the more I have for both are infinite."

Hardest line to remember: There wasn't a particularly hard line, but the whole vial speech was a nightmare to memorize. I usually get the lines right but the order is anyone's guess.

Are you going to do more plays after this? Hopefully!

Fun Fact: Nicholas and I are actually from Rival Towns!
