The leaves have changed, the air is crisp and everyone has started to crave pumpkin bread, pumpkin seeds, and even pumpkin ice cream. This can only mean one thing; it’s time to pull out the fall clothes. Ladies, bring out those vests! Vests can be thrown on easily and are warm and comfy to wear all day. Pairing a vest with a collared oxford shirt and a scarf is a hot new look! Remember, just because it is a unique color does not mean it will not match with anything in your closet. For example, a burnt orange vest might not seem cute on the hanger but could look amazing with that olive green top, those black leggings, and some brown boots.
Here are a few tips for buying the perfect vest:
- Feel the thickness of the vest: do you want it to be toasty, warm, or just a thin layer to zip up over a shirt?
- TRY NEW COLORS! You never know, you might start a whole new trend.
- Never buy a vest online; it is better to try it on in person so that you make sure it is right for your skin tone, hair color, and body type.
