Hi guys, so for this week I have decided to do my blog about where to go for the perfect date night!
First things first I had a real problem choosing a place for this week’s blog as there are so many dining out places in Leeds to choose from and I had been given so many suggestions by people, it was ridiculously hard to choose!
However, my friend and I came up with the suggestion of Ambiente Tapas Bar as we had never been before but had heard such great reviews about it. Also, to add to date night vibe, it is in such a lovely location in Leeds as it is situated right next to the River Aire (Romantic touch), but is still a stone’s throw away from Call Lane (Perfect for drinks after).
I had booked a table in advance which is advisable because I think this restaurant does get rather busy, especially at the weekends!
When we arrived at Ambiente we were greeted by a lovely waiter who showed us to our table and talked us through the food and drinks menu. He informed us that the tapas served there had a Yorkshire twist, which I though was very clever and appealing!
We looked through the flavoursome menu and decided to go for the introduction to tapas for two people (£27.50) which includes 6 tapas dishes and bread and oil!
Our tapas arrived very quickly which was great as we were starving! I must say that the tapas was some of the best I have ever had (and I’m quite a tapas expert) everything was so fresh and just packed with flavours! Also it’s quite surprising how much tapas fills you up! We were so full by the end of the meal, we could hardly move!
Even though Ambiente Tapas bar is a little bit more expensive than most bars and restaurants it is definitely worth the visit for a date night as it’s got such a relaxing romantic atmosphere where you can happily enjoy your yummy tapas with your date! It’s without doubt not one to miss!
