Beyonce Releases Baby Pics

I am pretty sure that everyone will have already witnessed the incredibly cute pictures released personally by Beyonce and Jay Z of their baby Blue Ivy on their Tumblr this week, but just in case you haven’t, here is Baby Blu’s blog created for her by her parents: http://helloblueivycarter.tumblr.com/. The blog reveals the first pictures of the month old baby with her full head of hair, as well as images her proud parents holding their daughter,  along with the words:  ‘we welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family.’

Karl Lagerfeld calls Adele ‘Fat’

It’s hard to have anything negative to say about the biggest selling female artist of the moment, but fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld managed to cause a stir after an interview was published in France quoted him saying that Adele was ‘a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.’ Adele responded to the remarks through another magazine interview where she claimed she was proud of her figure, and likes being representative of the majority of women. Lagerfeld is well known for being outspoken and controversial at times, but has since apologised for the comments, and insists that his words were taken out of context during the interview. He has said that Adele is his favourite singer, and tried to relate to her by saying that he lost 30 kilos 10 years ago and knows how brutal the press can be about weight.

Madonna at the Super Bowl

The infamous US Super Bowl game was broadcast across the world last Sunday, and attracted a record breaking 111.3 million viewers, with Madonna’s half time show peaking at 114 million. Her routine was classed as her ‘come back performance’, and featured several of her classic hits such as Like a Prayer, Music, and Vogue, as well as her new track ‘Give Me All Your Luvin.’ Madonna was joined on stage by many a famous face, including Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green, LMFAO and MIA, who has since been in trouble with American TV network CBS as well as Madonna herself for putting her middle finger up at the camera during their performance. Madonna said she didn’t know anything about it, but is not happy about it, and claimed the stunt was ‘such an irrelevant thing to do.’ British singer MIA has apologised and apparently regrets her actions.

Lady Gaga Speaks Out About Bulimia

Pop sensation Lady Gaga has revealed that she suffered from the illness bulimia as a teenager, and has explained that it was her music career that helped her get through it after worries that her vocal chords could become damaged as a result. She admitted to making herself throw up after meal times, saying that she ‘wanted to be a skinny little ballerina, but I was a voluptuous little Italian girl whose dad had meatballs on the table every night.’ She also criticized the media for promoting unrealistic images of women, including her own photo shoots and music videos; ‘they stretch you –they make you perfect. It’s not real life.’ Gaga has been actively engaged with anti-bullying charities, and has had meetings with President Obama to discuss its prevention as well as launching her ‘Born This Way Foundation’.

Tom Daley and co Dance Routine

Looks like Tom Daley and his fellow Olympians are taking training for London 2012 very seriously down under in this video of their version of ‘Sexy and I Know It’ by LMFAO. The 17 year old diver can be seen topless, carrying out a particularly well rehearsed, cheesy dance routine on a beach with the rest of the GB diving team. The video is definitely worth a watch if not for the hilarity, but the six packs alone! Woah…
