Its December and Christmas is coming round the bend. This week, I’ve made a playlist to help get you in the mood for this festive holiday. With this playlist, you’ll fill all your Christmas needs; we’ve got classics to covers to original modern compositions. I would recommend listening to the Lindsey Stirling’s-Christmas C’mon featuring Becky G. When I first heard it, I wasn’t able to get it out of my head. It’s a really good upbeat song and it’s a good piece of music to get you in the mood for Christmas.
There are so many events in Leeds to look forward to. One of my favourite Christmassy things to do in Leeds is the Christmas markets. They always sell so many amazing things from presents to festive food. I always remember there was always a stall that always sold fudge, with so many different unique flavours. I recommend going to the markets, particularly at night, with all the Christmas lights are up, it always makes it extra festive. Its so beautiful to see them all up. Even on a dark, dull day, seeing them really cheers me up.
Its also a great excuse to stay at home and eat good comfort food. Sometimes, particularly when it snows, the weather is always really beautiful to watch from indoors and it’s a great excuse to wrap yourself with a blanket and just sit and watch the snow fall. Its my favourite type of weather and I love seeing the outside world covered with a lovely blanket of it.
Its also a good excuse to watch Christmas movies. One of my favourite Christmas films is Elf starring Will Ferrall. I love how this serious actor can play a character with shows so much excitement and emotion to this holiday. Its such a good film to watch, particularly if you need a good laugh. Its always a good classic to me. Honestly, Christmas is always a good excuse to watch any movie. I remember always seeing childhood classics are always on, from Harry Potter to Shrek and its always good to sit and re-watch an old movie.
Whatever the weather, sit back, wrap up warm with your favourite blanket and relax with these Christmas pieces.
