If you don’t know who Sam Smith is by now, you may have lived under a rock during 2013. The British singer-songwriter topped charts with EDM duo Disclosure, lending his voice to the song “Latch”. Sam’s distinct voice is peircing; you can’t help but pay attention to it. Sam has just released an EP called Nirvana. It includes seven songs, featuring an acoustic version of Latch and Sam’s new single, Money on My Mind. Just as Sam beautifully shrieks, he counters it with a soulful, warm, almost lullaby sounding melody. Take a listen:
