Christina Grimmie has just realeased her new single “Cliche” and it is anything but! I mean, granted it’s a sweet pop hook with a hard beat drop, and we’ve seen this before, but the song is still feels fresh and cool. Christina was a YouTube sensation for many years, getting attention for the massive, soulful voice coming out of her tiny body. She went on to come in third place on The Voice; her coach Adam Levine believed in her so much that he even offered her recording contract after the show. “Cliche” is Christina’s second single after The Voice. Her first single, “Must Be Love”, was catchy enough, but I felt as if the song was trying too hard. Her new single seems more authentic to the direction she is trying to go into.
