What I do…at LU: I like being outside as much as I can. I go on ORC trips – which you should all do – and I sometimes grow beards (highly recommended – especially in the winter).

Something on repeat: The Streets. He’s British…and awesome.

How do I feel about the Packers’ win? I feel great! For a long-term fan like myself, it was about time!

Who is your favorite Prof? John Dreher and Dirck Vorenkamp. They will challenge the way you think about the world. Take a class with them…if you dare!

Most mischievous thing? This isn’t the most mischievous thing I’ve done, but my friends and I convinced my freshmen studies professor to let the four of us go build a snowman while the rest of the class had to stay inside. I also climbed the smokestack in the factory across the river…not on campus, but still mischievous…also, not recommended.

Single or Taken? Taken…Sorry ladies!

What do you look for in a girl? I hope they don’t try too hard to put on their face and look perfect. I wish more girls (and people in general) realized that they look good as they are! Also, it’s a plus if they like beer and/or trees.

Career Plans? Well, I think it would be cool to be a park ranger, but if that doesn’t work out I could always become a street performer.

Dream date: Honestly, I think it would be cool to sit on a rock somewhere, drink some New Glarus, and make sandwiches…probably peanut butter and jelly. If we’re actually talking about a “dream” date, it would probably involve a magic carpet.

Annie Kaiser is a senior economics and government major at Lawrence University. Happily born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Annie also has been called a "nomad" by her friends. In the past two years she has lived on both coasts, spending a year at school in Claremont, California and living in Georgetown for a summer internship with a political web-blog in Alexandria, Virginia. She played Varsity basketball and soccer throughout college, and has decided boxing will be her go-to workout after her collegiate athletic retirement. Annie's favorite activities include dining in fine restaurants, debating about politics, memorizing the presidents in order, painting, keeping up with celeb gossip, seatfiling at award shows, making lists of interesting words, and reading classic novels. She can not get enough of Jack Johnson music, new challenges, and Chuck Bass. Her motto: put your mind to it, and do it.
