Although J.Crew is still relatively young, the brand has already become known internationally for  crafting  “classic” and “timeless” clothing pieces. Inspired by trips around the world, J.Crew’s innovative designers incorporate trends, colors and fabrics into unique, crave-worthy pieces for every season. This winter, J.Crew has once again created a superb  collection characterized by vivid colors, rich fabrics and added warmth to make these pieces fashionable for years to come. As a long time J.Crew lover (and  more recently, sales associate), I’ve decided to share some of my favorite pieces of the season as well as styling suggestions to elevate your winter wardrobe.

The Jules Dress in Wildcat($188): This classic dress incorporates must have  winter trends this the holiday season all in one!  The  A- line silhouette of the Jules Dress has become recently popular due to  its understated sophistication and flattering cut. This dress is also balances the line between funky and formal effortlessly with J.Crew’s custom  ‘Savannah ‘ leopard print and nude overtones. The long sleeves and above the knee cut make this dress idea for holiday parties (paired with black tights and booties), or leather heels for afterhours. Although the price tag may seem steep, this splurge is well worth the money with its wear-ability and timelessness for all seasons.

The Glimmer Long-Sleeve Tee in Dark Khaki ($69): Holiday season is the perfect time to bust out the sparkles at family gatherings or around the office. This Glimmer Long-Sleeve Tee, covered from front to back with sparkles, works perfectly worn over a chambray or classic white button up shirt and pixie pants to work. Pump up the volume by tucking the tee into a black felted mini to impress your co-workers at the holiday party this year. The best part? It’s a steal  for only $69 (on sale) online.

Honeycomb Cable Sweater ($55.65):  This season, J.Crew designed their very own cable design to make their Honeycomb Sweater truly one of a kind. By using a blend of Viscose, wool, nylon and angora (super soft rabbit fur), J.Crew has eliminated the typical scratchy pullover winter sweater. The Honeycomb comes in 10 vivid colors, including my favorites Heather Hydrangea and Pine Bough. Pair this perfect sweater with a Flair Skirt and tights for work or simple dark skinny jeans tucked into your favorite pair of boots.

Classic Mini in Felted Wool ($98): A sweet and sophisticated core piece of J.Crew for years, this skirt is now available in this season’s hottest colors: Decadent Red and Vintage Violet. The 60’s inspired mod style is the perfect piece to dress down with sweater tights and heels or vintage boots throughout the winter months. If you’re on a budget, buy this skirt in a classic white, heather grey or black to mix and match seamlessly with what you already have in your wardrobe.

Crystal Button Cardigan ($48.65): Another traditional J.Crew winter piece, the Crystal Button Cardigan combines the elegance of the Jackie Cardigan with added sparkle button embellishments. The blend of acrylic, super soft merino wool and alpaca make this sweater cozy yet dressy enough to wear to more festive occasions. Best of all, the sweater comes in a rainbow (literally) of fun colors to match your favorite holiday ensemble!
