If you haven’t heard of Noodle the pug, you’re missing out. His videos on his owner Jonathan’s TikTok account have become a new part of millions of people’s morning routines. Noodle decides every morning the fate of the day. In the morning, the 13 year old pug’s owner lifts him gently up from his excessively fluffy dog bed. When he lets go, Noodle either sits up on his own or flops right back down into his bed. The first indicates a Bones Day. Bones Days are to be celebrated and revered. A Bones Day is a great time to buy yourself a present, give a speech, or even get married. However, it’s bad news if Noodle flops right back into bed and forecasts a No Bones Day. No Bones Days bring flat tires, stuffy noses, and long lines. It’s better to just stay in bed on these fateful No Bones Days.

Noodle has absolutely taken over TikTok, gaining his owner 3.5 million followers, typically having around 8 million views on his Bones or No Bones videos. Jonathan has been making these videos regularly since August of this year, and in that short amount of time Noodle has become an absolute star. In fact, the pug’s influence has circulated outside of TikTok as well. Noodle has appeared on the morning news, multiple songs have been written about him, professors have extended midterms, and Navy Pentagon employees are starting meetings with a report on whether it is a Bones Day or not. The world has become absolutely enamored with this saggy little dog. He brings hope in his silly antics, and even on No Bones Days he gives people permission to focus on themselves.

(It should be noted that this article was written on a Bones Day).
