Thank you, Her Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

“What is Her Campus?”

That’s a question I get all the time, and I honestly don’t always know what to say. I could give the general description, Her Campus is an online publication for college women by college women, or I could tell them what it means to me.

Her Campus is my club. By this, I mean it is my favorite club, and my safe space, it is where I feel the most comfortable. I am not afraid to be myself, and I am not afraid to express my feelings.

Donahue room 214 is my favorite place to walk into every Thursday afternoon at 2 pm. I love sitting at the front of the class and sharing ideas for events or articles, maybe even a meme or two, and so many laughs. We get so excited when we get survival kits, and spend so much time talking to each other about our favorite products,

It is where I have met some of my best friends. You can catch us not only at meetings together, but at Tuesday breakfast or sitting together in accounting class. The friends I have made in this club never fail to make me happy when I am sad, or help me with literally anything I need.

Her Campus is so many articles. It is beauty, reviews, fashion, laughs, memes, and maybe even a rant or two. You can find articles about almost anything on Her Campus.

Her Campus is an unbreakable bond. It is a place for our thoughts to be heard, and maybe even inspire others to make a change or be motivated to write some articles of their own. It is a way for us to grow and prosper. It is a movement to empower others to not be afraid to write about what they believe in. I could not have chosen a better club to be a part of.

Her Campus is all of us, about all of us, for all of us, by all of us.
