There are certain essentials every woman should have in their backpack, purse, or workbag. Sometimes the emergency kits take up too much space in bags. So, here is HC Lasell’s perfect list of what should go in a mini bag emergency kit.
1.Hairties/ Bobby pins
So that these are easily accessible and do not fall at the bottom of the bag, put them in a little container. Old Tic Tac containers are great for bobby pins, after they are washed out of course. No more having to search and search for bobby pins!
2. Tinted Chapstick
Tinted chapstick is great because it is chapstick and lipstick in one. It moisturizes and gives color, no need to carry both! Burt’s Bees makes some great ones.
3. Hand Sanitizer or Hand Wipes
These are especially important to have on hand at all times nowadays! These are so helpful for keeping a clean environment.
4. Extra Mask
A mask is one of the most important things to carry but is a great idea to keep an extra one on hand just in case.
5. Gum or Mints
Chewing gum is proven to help people focus and obviously good-smelling breath is important.
6. Snacks
For a long day of classes or work, snacks are super important to help keep energy levels up!
7. Feminine Products
Self-explanatory, but need these just in case!!
8. A Little Extra Cash
Cash is super important to have on hand for water, snacks, or if a subway card runs out of money.
9. Lint Roller
This is a must for pet owners who like wearing black pants. It is not in the business casual dress code to have pet hair on dress pants.
10. Aleve
Advil or any preferred headache medicine is a must for emergency kits.
11. Band-Aids
These come in handy more often than one might think.
12. Tissues
Allergy season is upon us, unfortunately, so these are a must-have.
13. Mini Deodorant
Sometimes during a long day, a freshen up is needed!
14. Mini Lotion
Hands tend to get dry in the winter, especially with washing them and using hand sanitizer all the time. Keep a favorite Bath and Body works scented lotion in the emergency kit.
