Welcome to Her Campus Lasell’s movie reviews with our writer and President, Emalee, where we are going to review the classics and the latest and greatest in film. So grab some popcorn and let’s see if this movie is worth seeing. Do not worry there will be *no spoilers* in this article.
A Quiet Place was directed by John Krasinki and also stars Krasinki and his wife Emily Blunt. To sum up the movie it is about a family who learns to live in silence and hide from strange creatures who hunt by sound. Mostly everything in the world is already destroyed by these monsters and this family is trying to figure out not only how to survive, but also fight back. They face many obstacles in this movie but prove that with a family bond and teamwork they will survive. I think it is a very interesting and new concept. It made for a suspenseful and great film. If you have Hulu and need something to watch while social distancing I recommend this movie. They were about to come out with a second one and in my opinion with how the movie ended, it will be very interesting to see the plot of the second one. It would be a movie I would pay to go see. They were planning on releasing the second Quiet Place soon, but with movie theaters forced to be closed for now, Krasinki decided that he is going to wait to release the movie until people can see it together because many fans have said it is a movie they all have to see together. So, we will have to stay tuned for now on a review of the sequel.
