Old, New, Latest, and Greatest Films with Emalee: Invisible Man

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Welcome to Her Campus Lasell’s movie reviews with our writer and President, Emalee, where we are going to review the classics and the latest and greatest in film. So grab some popcorn and let’s see if this movie is worth seeing. Do not worry there will be *no spoilers* in this article.

Invisible Man was directed by Leigh Whannel and was released on February 28, 2020. Warning this is a scary movie, I know that scary movies are not everyone’s cup of tea, so you will probably not like the movie unless you enjoy scary movies. If you do, this movie is great for a few jump scares. I saw it in the movie theaters and the surround sound probably made it even scarier. I was so sucked into the movie that I forgot I was not alone and was in the movie theater and screamed a little at one part, that is how good this movie is. It definitely is not one of the movies that take a while to develop, it gets right to the point. I am one of those people who say they love scary movies, but honestly, my anxiety went through the roof watching this movie. This movie was really well made and would definitely recommend giving it a watch since most of us have some extra time on our hands for some movie watching! From this movie I have found out that Elisabeth Moss, the main character, is a super great actress and I know she has done other popular films and TV shows. I will give this movie a 10/10 and recommend seeing it. Stay tuned for more movie reviews from most likely streaming services for the near future.
