Miss Jessie’s Hair Product Reveiw

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Miss Jessie’s is one of the most popular companies used in the curly hair community and has been getting even more popular. Is the brand really worth the money if you can pick up Shea Moisture or Cantu?

  1. Miss Jessie’s Multicultural Curls: This-product costs $15.99 and is worth the price. I’ve used curl creams before that were drying and caused my hair to be more frizzy. This product has helped to moisture my hair and keep it looking shiny. As someone with 2c/3a hair, who is biracial, this is my go-to product. I have only bought one other multiracial product that worked and it was $30, so this is a deal! It also doesn’t weigh down my hair. I would rate this product 4/5 stars.
  2. Miss Jessie’s Jelly Soft Curl Gel: This is the only gel I will ever use, for the longest time I would only use a mouse because of how it weighted my hair down and made it crunchy. For the price of $13.99 it is worth every penny. I’ve even used this for buns and have seen great results when my hair stays in place without being hard and shiny. This is great for relaxed updos and everyday curl styling. This gel would work great on most hair types, though I wouldn’t suggest it for anyone in the 1a-1c range   I would give this a 5/5 star rating.
  3. Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls: This is the product that introduced me to the brand, it’s one of the more pricer products at $22.99. I have never tried a product like this one, it makes my hair so soft and pliable. It makes my hair look and feels super healthy, despite the chemical damage. It does have a smell but it doesn’t bother me, it smells like the laundry. If you have hard to work with or damaged hair this is a must for you. I would rate this product 4.5/5 stars.

I suggest you pick up one of their products to test them out for yourself.
