Crystal Leigh must have looked so perfect standing there because Michael Clifford was brave enough to pop the question while on vacation in Bali with his now-fiancée.
On January 16, the 5 Seconds of Summer Guitarist announced via Twitter and Instagram that he had proposed to his girlfriend of three years, model Crystal Leigh.
“I was lucky enough to ask the love of my life to marry me in the place it all began for us. In the last 3 years she has helped evolve and shape who I am in ways I could never have imagined. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with. I love loving you,” he captioned the post, which featured pictures of the happy couple celebrating.
The pair began dating in 2016 and officially announced their relationship in early 2017. Before dating Leigh, Clifford kept his romantic life on the DL. However, he did have a fling with Scream Queens star Abigail Breslin in 2013, but according to her viral song “You Suck,” things didn’t end too well.
While there is no news on when the couple is planning to tie the knot, 5 Seconds of Summer fans can’t wait for the big day and to see the band all dressed up (and what wild antics his bachelor party will include). It makes us wonder which band mate is going to receive the honor of being best man.
