One Direction fans rejoice because a new tiny addition has just been made to the family. Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole, now known as just Cheryl, announced that they have given birth to a little baby boy. How adorable! The parents kept pretty silent during Cheryl’s pregnancy, but now, the couple is gushing about their baby, making statements all over social media stating how “madly in love” they are with their blessing.
It’s weird to think Payne is already a father, considering just years ago he was auditioning for the X Factor and becoming a part of a boy band that changed the world. Oddly enough, Payne met his future girlfriend and baby mama on the X Factor at 14 years old and sparks flew instantly.
Payne is more ecstatic than ever about this new chapter in his life. This baby couldn’t have come at a better time for him, considering the end of One Direction. He was quick to post to Instagram exclaiming his joy:
“My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favorite memory I have so far,” he said, “I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true. We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed. Happy Mother’s Day everyone!”
This time in the couple’s lives is sure to bring tons of joy and happiness for them. He isn’t the first guy in One Direction to have a baby, however. Louis Tomlinson had a baby boy, Freddie, with ex Briana Jungwirth not too long ago, so does this mean any upcoming Directioner playdates? Hopefully more pictures of the baby boy will come!
