Earmuffs have taken over the fashion world this winter season! You go to the mall and in a plethora of stores and you can spot earmuffs on the shelves in many different styles and colors. As an avid fashion enthusiast, I did take notice of trend reports for the A/W 22 season and it was predicted that earmuffs would be in style. Keep reading to see my thoughts on the trend!
They keep your ears warm without messing up your hair
This can be a great alternative to wearing beanies or other hats in the winter. Earmuffs just slide right on top of your head covering the ears so they keep you warm, but you can still rock a cute hairstyle without it getting covered or messed up by wearing a hat!
They are essentially soundproof
Some people may enjoy wearing earmuffs simply for the fact that it gives off that “I don’t care vibe”. This may not be for everyone, but if you are someone who likes to wear AirPods or headphones walking around, this has a similar feel, just without the music.
They are not an expensive investment
Typically these can be around $30 so you can always try them out and if you hate it they would not break your bank. If you love them you can purchase a few in some neutral and fun colors to style with different outfits!
I am all for this trend. It’s something new that has not been too common of a fashion accessory in the past. I have been enjoying finding fun ways to style them and incorporate them into my outfit.
