Journaling with Jade: Prompts for Passion

I’m noticing that passion has an impact amongst many aspects of my life. From career, to friendships, to trips and romantic relationships, passion establishes itself in all of these categories and more. I notice it when I see people pursuing internships or jobs that they like and have been waiting for. I notice passion when my loved ones are in healthy relationships. And, when I heard a story about a fun trip someone went on, I saw their passion. It may look different to everybody, but passion is noticeable. 

Here are some writing prompts and categories to fulfill your inner passion fruit:

Career & Hobbies

1. What are some skills you enjoy that you pursue or could pursue in a career?
2. What’s one hobby or interest you want to add to your life?
3. What’s your favorite aspect in your major, studies, work life, or future career?
4. Why do you like that favorite part of your major, studies, work life, or career?

Friendships

3. What’s one friend that is the definition of passion in your life?

Romance

1. What’s one romantic memory you have with yourself?
2. How do you feel when you’re in a passionate, loving relationship?
3. What’s a scene from a movie or show that has raised your standards for your own love life? Why? 
4. What’s one passionate moment you have experienced?

Fun & Travel

Carrying out passion towards different areas in your life makes a notable impact. It gives life a natural flame without force. Makes it more alive. Passion could look like anything too, from simple to large interests, your hobbies, a favorite class, a favorite brand or an intriguing future career; the list is endless. By practicing passion and adding it to certain areas of your life, it adds to the plot of your own movie. Be your own movie star!
