Kaylie would like to introduce herself as a new member on HerCampus Lasell! Kaylie is a junior Business Management and Finance major, and is also involved in the Student Government Association as the VP of Finance. Her hometown is a small town called Douglas, located in Eastern Massachusetts. Kaylie has been very eager to join HerCampus after her roommate was involved in the organization for a few years. She is excited to begin working with such a dynamic organization and strives to see empowerment within her community. Kaylie has expressed her love for writing and keeps up with many HerCampus articles weekly. She has a very creative mind that she hopes to bring to life within her articles. Alongside with her passion for writing, Kaylie is a book nerd and enjoys reading in her free time. Some of Kaylie’s favorite novels are “Ugly Love” by Colleen Hoover, “The Return” by Nicholas Sparks, and “The Unhoneymooners” by Christina Lauren. She is also eager to find new recommendations, and hopes to express her love for reading with the community. She also hopes to share with HerCampus her top 10 must reads!
You can find Kaylie outside a majority of the time, especially on the beach during the hot summer days. Kaylie loves spending time in parts of Rhode Island such as Narragansett and Newport, where she finds herself to be the happiest. She is also thrilled for a new adventure that includes exploring new areas of the East coast and finding new book-reading destinations. Kaylie has many ideas brewing already that she is very excited to write about, and is overall happy to be a part of the team!
