My name is Ariana Huckabey and I am the editor-in-chief of Her Campus Lasell. I am originally from Connecticut. I am currently a senior in business management and marketing. I am also a member of the Honors program at Lasell. This year I am interning at Boston Strategy Group as a marketing research intern.
I started in Her Campus my freshmen year as a writer and was a copywriter my sophomore year. This is my second year as editor-in-chief, however last year we were fully remote. I am very passionate about writing and have been writing since I was five. When I am not writing or editing Her Campus articles, I’m working on my novel, finger crossed it’s my debut novel. I’m also a makeup and skincare hoarder. You’ll always see me trying new products and tools.
Additionally, I have a passion for plant medicine and alternative spirituality. I believe that traditional medicine has a place alongside modern medicine and science. After I graduate college, I plan to study and apprentice under a herbalist to get certified in herbalism, while doing something in marketing for a few years. My long-term goal is to be recognized by the American Herbalist Guild and be able to make herbal medicine more accessible in the United States.
