Introducing Me…Anna Wall

Hi everyone!

My name is Anna Wall and I am the President of HerCampus Lasell! I joined HC my freshman year and love everything about being part of the team. 

I am from a small town called Tiverton, Rhode Island. I grew up there my entire life and joined the Lasell community in 2018. I originally came here as an Advertising major, but quickly realized my heart lies with Event Management, so I changed my major and picked up two minors in Marketing and Communications. 

I first heard about HC my freshman year at our school activity fair. I love to write, market using social media, and of course planning events, so it seemed like an amazing club option for me. When I went to my first meeting, I saw not only the community, but truly the family that HC provided, and I knew it was the club for me. At the end of my freshman year, I became the event director for the club and have helped our past presidents plan some great events. My favorite event was our Halloween delivery event, where we delivered snack baskets to students around campus! It was a great way to involve the whole club and also represent our club to the rest of the school. 

Besides HerCampus, I am also part of the NACE (National Association of Catering and Events) club as the Vice President. NACE is a great way to get involved in the industry and I am proud to help lead our team this year and help younger students work on networking skills. 

When I am not studying or at club meetings, you can find me at concerts (my favorite is country), going to Boston with my friends, or going home for a weekend to spend time with my family and Mini Goldendoodle, Ella. I also work as a bridal specialist at David’s Bridal!

After graduation, I am hoping to get a job as a wedding planner, specializing in luxury weddings. I love everything about the wedding industry, and cannot wait to see where this path takes me. 

I am so happy to serve as the President this year for HerCampus Lasell. We have a great group of hard-working members this year, and I cannot wait to share with you all of our exciting plans for the semester!
