Looking for the right skin-care product is like shopping for any bottoms. You have to try on a variety of sizes and brands in order to find the best fit. Yet, unlike pants, you have to hope it doesn’t worsen your current skin concerns too. So, I went on the hunt and asked a list of people what their skin type is and what products they use.
Anita Ghodsi
Skin type: Oily mostly on nose and forehead
“I use Aveeno’s foaming cleanser for the start of the day and during the evening. I then use prescription creams and use an Aveeno moisturizer that has sunscreen for my last layer”.
Chris Aguilar
Skin type: Normal but mostly oily nose
“I exfoliate and deep clean my face. For my nose, I use a toothbrush (specifully just for my nose) to scrub”.
Audrey Diaz
Skin type: Regular
“My go-to skincare product is Cetaphil”.
Amy Xu
Skin type: Regular
“If I am breaking out, I use an acne-free brand and use a 3-step process to get rid of my breakouts”.
Astro
Skin type: Combination of regular and oily
“ I use the Banila Co Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm!”
Ashley Diaz
Skin type: Oily on the nose
“My go to skincare product is biologique recherche p50. She’s expensive but after using prescribed skincare and having acne-prone skin my whole teenage life it has helped greatly. I use this to even out my skin tone and dark spots. It also helps me balance the texture of my skin”.
Javi Vargas
Skin type: Regular
“I don’t usually use skin care products, but I tend to use moisturizer, especially after I shave.”
