How I use pinterest to find my next haircut

Recently, I got a new haircut. I wanted a change; I needed a change; I got a change.

Usually, when looking for a new haircut, I find my inspiration from Pinterest. No surprise, before getting my most recent hair cut, I once again used my favorite app. After scouring the app for hours, I finally found three different pictures of the haircut I wanted. Pinterest is perfect for finding lots of different ideas for haircuts and there are a lot of different ways you can use the app too.

  1. Making a Pinterest Board

Pinterest boards are so much fun and extremely useful. If I find a haircut I’m interested in, I just look up that haircut and then continuously add photos of that haircut to a board. Then, when I’m with my hair dresser, I show her the board and she has the perfect idea of what I want.

  1. Pinterest’s Suggestions

When you first open Pinterest, it brings you to the “Browse” section. This is where the app shows you all of its suggestions. Depending on your recent searches, the suggestions are usually super accurate. And of course, it’s super easy to “hide” pins you’re not interested in and Pinterest will keep those away.

  1. Making your own Pins

Personally, I have never made my own pin before. However, I know people who have and it’s super cool. If you have a hairstyle or haircut you think would look great for others, it’s super simple to make a pin for it. Then, others can find it on their own and save it for the future.

Using Pinterest has saved me so much time when looking for a new hairstyle. Whether I simply need inspiration, or I need a completely new idea, Pinterest is always my best friend.
