Halloween Activities in Boston You Cannot Miss!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Halloweekend is one of college students’ favorite weekends of the year. We love to dress up in our creative costumes and have so much fun at a party or going out with friends. Since we live in Boston, MA, I thought it would be interesting to see what is going on this week, so that I can plan out my weekend. Here are some great things going on this week you should look into!

  1. Bar Crawls

If you are 21 or older, check out one of the various Halloween bar crawls across the city. Tickets for most of these crawls are only about fifteen dollars, and include your covers for the bars and some even offer free specialty drinks! There are all different ones to choose from, so pick the one that seems the most fun for you and your friends!

2. Dog Costume Parade

This seems like the cutest way to spend your Halloween. In Downtown Crossing, there will be a “Doggone Halloween Parade” on October 30th. The dogs will be decked out in great costumes and there is even a costume contest!

3. Ghost Tour

Boston is known for its annual ghost tour. Tickets are $42 per person and are led by many scary characters.

4. Late Night Movie Marathon

There will be a Halloween Horror Marathon in Coolidge Corner on the 30th. It is 12 hours long and there will be music starting at 11:00 p.m. Halloween Brunch- Committee, which is located in the Seaport, will be hosting a Halloween brunch from 10:00-3:00 p.m. on Halloween day. There will be a costume contest, a DJ, and even specialty Halloween cocktails!

We hope that you enjoy these activities and try some of them out!
