Friendsgiving can be an awesome way to get friends together and have a little thanksgiving. However, given the climate of the pandemic, it can be really hard to put together.

Do’s

Do: If you are having people over, keep it to a small group. Lots of people are reliant on not getting COVID before thanksgiving and are hopeful to be able to see their families.

Do: If you are planning on cooking, keep it simple, as you will want to be able to spend time with your friends, and not running around trying to get everything together. If your friends ask you to help, let them!

Do: Make a list of everything you need to buy, and a list of everything you are planning on making, and an overfall todo for cleaning, and things to get done for preparation

Do: Allow plenty of time for preparation, and try to get as much done ahead of time as possible, I strongly recommend the use of a crockpot. You can even set the table before people come

Do: Take your friends allergies into account

Do: Have a festive playlist set and ready to go

Dont’s

Don’t: Try to make a ton of dishes, keep it simple

There are also some virtual options for Friendsgiving: Like a Friendsgiving toast, or a Netflix party.
