Easy Fall Desserts For if You’re Bad at Cooking

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Sometimes all you want is an easy, last-minute dessert for if you’re not good at cooking, or you’re feeling a little unmotivated (but still hungry). These recipes use ingredients that most people already have in their household, and they’re super easy and delicious!

  1. Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge

This fudge is made with only 2 ingredients, peanut butter, and maple syrup. It gets great reviews on Allrecipes, and it only takes 15 minutes to make! Substitute smooth peanut butter for chunky if you want to add a little texture.

2. Apple Crumble

This apple crumble is easy and delicious- serve it warm with vanilla ice cream for that perfect fall bite. The thick, buttery cinnamon pecan topping is perfect for curling up by the fire this season!

3. Soft Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies have a soft, cakey texture that is truly irresistible. Each bite is filled with semi-sweet chocolate chips, making this sweet treat perfect for holidays, bake sales, and more!

4. Chocolate Caramel Filled Apples

A unique way to satisfy your sweet tooth this fall- the perfect twist on a classic caramel apple. Cut the apple in half and put all the messy, delicious ingredients on the inside. Much easier to eat and just as yummy!

5. Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

We’ve all had these cookies with Hershey’s Kiss in the middle, but they continue to be a classic. A fun way to mix it up is to try these with caramel-filled Hershey’s instead of the original ones!

Let us know if you end up trying any of these recipes! Happy fall, and happy cooking!
