Corgis hold a special place in my heart as the ultimate dog breed. There are countless reasons why they stand out as the best dog companions. Firstly, their intelligence is remarkable: ranked 11th among the smartest dog breeds, they are quick learners, which makes training them a breeze. Their intelligence also shines through their adaptability to thrive in various environments if they receive the right amount of exercise and mental stimulation. Beyond their brains, corgis are undeniably adorable. Their short legs and big ears make them absolute showstoppers. But it’s not just their looks; their personalities are equally charming. They are full of character, often described as sassy, fun, sweet, and silly. Every corgi I’ve met has had a unique personality, making them all the more endearing. They are very expressive with their facial features. Their big round eyes add a lot to this.

Despite their size, corgis are surprisingly athletic, thanks to their herding dog heritage. They are energetic and make fantastic adventure companions. Don’t let their short legs fool you; they are always up for a hike or a playful time in the park. Another great aspect of corgis is their size. Ranging from 20-30 pounds, they are the perfect size for bringing along on any adventure. Their manageable size makes them easy to transport and fit into living situations. Corgis are the ultimate package: smart, cute, adaptable, athletic, and perfectly sized. It’s no wonder they are my favorite dog breed of all time. Another great thing about corgis are their butts, super iconic. The breed’s characteristics with their short legs and long bonds gives their butt a distinctive shape and wag that has unbelievable charm. Fun fact: corgis were Queen Elizabeth II of England’s favorite dog as well. During her lifetime, she had more than 30 corgis. The most she owned at one time was 13.
