Best Winter Jackets For Any Style

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

Winter is coming and that means it’s time to introduce heavier jackets into your wardrobe.  Whether you’re classic, sporty, edgy, or glam, there is a winter jacket out there that will match your style perfectly. Check them out below.

·         Classic- The Puffer Coat: Puffer coats have made a stylish comeback recently. Instead of the metallic, marshmallowy-looking jackets from our childhood brands like Canada Goose, they have revamped the puffer coat to make it sleek and fashionable. However, if you’re on a student budget, Madden Girl makes similar jackets that are just as cute and warm for a fraction of the cost.

·         Sporty- The Snowboard Jacket: Whether you’re about to hit the slopes or head out to the city, snowboard jackets are perfect for those who like the sporty look. This one by Roxy comes in bright colors to help you forget about the cold.

·         Edgy-The Military Jacket:  This fall staple got a winter upgrade, so that way you don’t have to sacrifice warmth for style. The faux fur lining keeps you extra cozy and the army green color is perfect for channeling your inner Lindsay Weir from Freaks and Geeks.

·         Glam- Faux Fur: Faux fur is great because it is an inexpensive way to make any outfit look super luxurious. It is also a fun way to add texture to an outfit. Keep it casual by layering it over a sweater and pairing that with skinny jeans, or dress it up with a fitted dress and some thigh-high boots. Fur also comes in many different colors and patterns so it’s the perfect way to make a statement with an otherwise plain outfit.
