Unlike most, I am a huge fan of country music. I grew up listening to it with my family and have loved going to many country concerts over the years. Although 2020 has just started, there have been some really great songs that have come through the country music industry. Here are my favorite ones so far:
1. 10,000 Hours- Dan and Shay with Justin Bieber
This song has blown up this year, for both country music and pop music fans, as Justin Bieber is featured on the track. This jam has been my absolute favorite of 2020 so far and I catch myself listening to it almost every day.
2. Homecoming queen?- Kelsea Ballerini
This song is a thoughtful country song that addresses the issue of low self-confidence and having to act like everything is fine to keep up appearances even when it is not. Kelsea Ballerini does this thoughtfully and gracefully to show off an amazing track.
3. After a Few- Travis Denning
Travis Denning, who is becoming one of my favorite new artists in the country music industry. This song has a great beat and is all-around a great track.
4. I Hope- Gabby Barrett
Gabby Barret is also one of my new favorite artists. This song captures the rage that comes from a past relationship in which she was cheated on, and how she hopes one day it will happen to her ex so that he will feel the pain she felt through the situation.
5. Dive Bar- Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton
Garth Brooks has come out with a new song, and it is truly fantastic. Putting Blake Shelton on the track with him only makes the song better, and is a must listen to for all country fans, new and old.
These are a few of my favorite new tracks and I cannot wait to see the other songs that the country music industry puts out for the rest of 2020!
