Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year. I just love the vibe and aesthetic of it all around, and also, the best part is dressing up and planning your outfit. This year, I went around Lasell to trick or treat again with my friends!

I’m not a huge party goer, so trick or treating around the neighborhood sounded more like my thing, although I do get some fomo of not going to the parties, but I just know I would only stay for a few minutes and dip.

I went as Little Red Riding Hood this year as my Halloween costume. I was originally going to go as Strawberry Shortcake and thrift my costume, but I did not have a lot of extra time this year to do that. Either way, my outfit still came out super cute, and I don’t mind re-using costumes! Surprisingly enough, one of our other friends from back home, who came with my roommate and me to go trick-or-treating, was also Little Red Riding Hood!

As for the trick or treating, though, we only went out for maybe about an hour and a half this time because it was super cold and windy. It was also getting late since we went around 7:30, and we should’ve gone a little earlier, but either way, we still got a lot of candy! The wind was not fun, though, but all you have to think about is that being cold is a mindset, right? It worked for a bit, and then it just got too cold, so we had to wrap it up.

When we got back, we made ourselves some dinner and took cute Halloween pictures together at my roommate’s and I’s dorm. Then, after we made dinner and finished taking pictures, we got out of our costumes and got all cozy to watch a movie! Our friend slept over at our dorm together, and it was super fun. It was her first time coming to Lasell as well, and she loved it.

Anyway, Halloween was really fun this year, and I can’t wait for what next year has to offer!
