The last thing you want to be doing this summer is spending all your time in the kitchen over a hot stove, and we all know that light, cooler foods are better for snacking in the summer anyway! Nobody wants a heavy, hot meal when it’s 80 degrees outside. The solution? These 5 quick and easy snacks! Perfect for lazy days and summer nights.

  1. Avocado toast: A classic summer snack staple. Add some cheese, tomatoes, or seasoning to make avocado toast taste even better, and enjoy that light crunch topped with creamy avocado.

  2. Frozen grapes, banana, or watermelon: Frozen fruit is amazing, but grapes, bananas, and watermelon frozen are just superior. Frozen grapes are amazing to pop in your mouth as an afternoon snack. For bananas and watermelons, cut pieces to put on skewers. You can even cover them in chocolate for a sweet treat!

  3. Yogurt parfait: Create a beautiful, tasty parfait with your favorite yogurt, granola, and berries. This is a great light snack to keep in mind for this summer, as you can layer these ingredients to make a crunchy yet smooth and fruity flavor.

  4. Trail mix: Trail mix is a great way to add some crunch into your summer diet. You can buy a delicious trail mix from the store, or make one yourself and add some fun seasonings!

  5. Peanut butter dip with apples: Peanut butter with apples is a staple snack, but have you tried this 3 ingredient peanut butter dip? Simply mix peanut butter, greek yogurt, and honey together to step up your snack game with this creamy dip!

Let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried any of these snacks! What’s your favorite summer snack?
