What We Are Loving This Week- 11

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lancaster chapter.

It’s the start of term three and whether you’re in the midst of exams or they’re just around the corner, it’s important to focus on what you are feeling positive about.

Exercising our right to vote

Okay so it isn’t quite this week, but last week’s city councillor election enabled us to exercise our democratic right to vote. Regardless of whether you feel disillusioned by politics, I believe it is important to have your voice heard. We are so lucky to live in a country where we get to have a say.

Launch of Tala

Popular fitness blogger Grace, also known as Grace Fit UK, has announced the impending launch of Tala, her own line of inclusive and environmentally friendly leisure wear. Sourced from recycled plastic, everything is as sustainable as can be, from the labels to the packaging- she’s really thought of it all. These pieces also won’t set you aback too much- the aim of the line is to be accessible for all.

Indulging on Easter chocolate

The receipt of Easter eggs coincides with the most stressful time of the academic year and I’m definitely not complaining.

Quizlet

The best revision app/website I have found definitely has to be Quizlet. This software enables you to create your own flashcards, which is easier to transport than its paper equivalent, not to mention being more environmentally friendly! There are several interactive quizzes and games that enable you to test and consolidate your memory.

The final episode of Line of Duty

Last but definitely not least, last night’s episode of the hit BBC drama finally revealed the identity of mysterious ‘H’. Don’t worry, I won’t give any spoilers, although social media is rife with those at the moment. The series had me hooked from the start, and the finale definitely did not disappoint.
