It’s no big secret that removing one’s make-up after a long and tiresome day can seem like a tedious chore in the evening. Why not get your desired beauty look without the use of makeup products and give your skin a rest from the artificial chemicals found in makeup? Below are some top tips for people who want to go about a make-up-free regime.
Tip 1: Face Mask

Want to achieve glowing skin via your skincare routine, why not opt for a face mask? With so many on offer its difficult to know what product to choose! Different face masks target specific issues such as dry skin, dull skin and acne prone skin etc. (It’s important to keep this in mind when purchasing a face mask to meet your personal skin requirements!)
Tip 2: Exfoliate
Want to keep your skin bright and smooth? Exfoliating products are perfect to achieve flawless looking skin. Removing the build-up of dead skin cells, it will unclog your pores resulting in perfectly glowing skin in no time! Why not purchase a lightly exfoliating face scrub that you can use daily? My personal preference is Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Face scrub. Costing just £4 and containing antibacterial properties, it’s a great pick me up and helps my skin feel healthy and clear.
Tip 3: Use an illuminating moisturiser

Want to appear like you have dewy skin without the use of makeup? Why not purchase an illuminating moisturiser to achieve radiant looking skin! With so many on offer promising to achieve different things, it’s difficult to know which one to choose! My personal preference is Simple’s Illuminating Moisturiser which is great to brighten and hydrate your skin!
Tip 4: Cleansing and Toning
Sounds obvious, but these two go hand in hand with each other! Ideal for maintaining healthy looking skin, this part of your skin care regime is one of the most important and should not be forgotten.
Tip 5: Under Eye Cream
Don’t neglect your eyes! Are your eyes feeling and looking particularly tired? Why not add an under-eye cream to your make-up free regime to add radiance and hydration to the particularly sensitive undereye area?
Tip 5: Petroleum Jelly

Don’t forget your lips! Use a petroleum jelly such as Vaseline which is instantly hydrating. My personal favourite is the rose and almond oil Vaseline that leaves a pink and rose glow which achieves the same effect as lip-gloss but is much more nourishing!
