Overwhelmed with emotion, itās a great accolade.
What is your favourite thing about university?
The people that you meet who become top friends for life, the freedom, and going from never cooking pasta in my life to now being able to rustle up a mean cheesy pasta bake.
Are you a member of any societies?
Yep, I play the fairly unknown Dutch sport of Korfball. I got into it because I wanted to try something completely new after āretiringā from Rugby due to injury. Itās a great laugh and different to most other sports as both sexes play together.
What else do you like to get up to in your spare time, any hobbies?
Iām a big sports fan, especially football and Rugby, so I go home quite a bit to support my local teams. I also enjoy travelling, so thatās taken me almost everywhere across Europe!

Good question! Going to have to get the job hunt going- doing what, Iād love to know. Then its 50 years of work before a well-earned retirementā¦fun!

What do you look for in a girl?
A bubbly personality with a great sense of humour that I can relate to, understanding my sarcasm is probably quite important with me.
What is your biggest turn off?
Anyone who thinks and acts like theyāre better than everyone else. Also nose piercings.
Any celebrity crushes?
After being forced to watch Corrie on a regular basis (secretly enjoying it) thereās something about Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent) that I like.

What is the craziest thing youāve ever done?
Setting the kitchen on fire in first year was pretty crazy; Iāve struggled to cook chicken since – very traumatic.
