The best way to finish an outfit is with the bag that you’ve got over your shoulder, across your body, under your arm or in your hand and with these variety of styles, you’ve got to get it right! Here are my top 5 choices:

1.The Embellished One

Sometimes it’s okay to splash out a little, or go for something with a bit more pizazz and sequins or embellishment is definitely the way to go about doing so. This berry number from Dune ticks all the boxes; it’s a practical size, the handle looks sturdy for all that junk you’re likely to put in it, and the colour is timeless. Don’t think of this as your ‘going out’ bag, or your ‘special occasion’ bag, this is an all-purpose accessory that will glam up a tshirt and jeans kinda day!

2.The Slogan One

Ever since we regrettably let the Zara stressed, but well dressed bag” slip through our fingers, we’ve been on the hunt for more bags of the slogan kind! It has to be said, there’s not many shops that have got it as right as Zara, except for Miss Selfridge. This is a perfect day-to-night clutch. The minimalistic white faux leather is great for any monochrome lovers, but the real hidden gem is the silver glitter on the back, a true party addition to compliment your outfit.

3.The Pony Hair One

It’s true, I’m a sucker for pony hair anything. Personally, I think it feels amazing and looks so luxurious, especially with the gold plating on the corners and the vibrant fuchsia pink design. Everyone needs something to jazz up their LBD and this cute clutch is the way to do so.

 4.The Fluffy One

You know me, I couldn’t resist writing about the fluffy additions to the shop floors and this one is my ultimate favourite. Put it this way, it’s at the top of my Christmas list and you should put it at the top of yours! The marabou-style feathers and gold tone chain make this bag look very expensive and it would look the part with a camisole topa pair of skinny jeans, embellished flats and a leather jacket for a casual date-night look.

 5.The Food One

Yes, you did read that correctly. The food one. These are, I guess, a more extravagant take on the slogan bags and if you’ve got quite an eclectic style, you’ll love them just as much as me. But if chocolate doesn’t tickle your fancy, you can find these in the form of burgers, milkshakes, ice creams and popcorn; pretty much any type of fun-fair food you can think of. They’re a very playful way to make your outfit look cool!
