1. You’re so excited to see your family and friends.

3. You have a huge catch up with all your friends and hear stories about people you have never, ever met…
4. You work your ass off so you have money for next term.
5. You miss your flatmates and their lack of expectations of you (unlike your parents).
6. You have to pay extreme attention to what you say, just in case that little swear words slips in.
7. You have a heart attack when you see the prices of alcohol back home!
8. You have to get a massive hair cut, because let’s be honest you don’t trust the one on campus.
9. You discover that the eating habits you formed at uni are not socially acceptable. In other words, you can not eat noodles 3 times a day or have ice cream for breakfast.
10. Suddenly you get to the end of the holidays knowing that you’ve done no work…
11. You realise that you can’t wait to get back to uni and escape your parents.
