With fall semester coming into full swing and exams approaching, the future can begin to look dreary for college students. However, once we get a break from our midterms and the hustle and bustle of the semester there is a new fall TV  lineup to distract us from the stress. Below are the lineups for some of the major TV networks: The CW, NBC, and ABC. I will include stars * next to the ones I personally enjoy watching so you can get right to them! (After you finish all your homework of course!)

 

The CW

Known for its epic crossover specials and dramatic teen dramas, the CW is back in business for the fall. Unfortunately, Jane the Virgin will not be returning until January but there are plenty of shows to watch while you wait for Jane’s reaction to that jaw-dropping season 4 finale!

 

Sundays

NBC

NBC is coming in hot from comedies such as Will & Grace and The Good Place to tearjerkers like This is Us (seriously if you haven’t seen this show already you must go watch it now) and continues with the classics including Law & Order: SVU and The Voice.

ABC

The home of “Shondaland”, ABC is bringing it home again with dramatic hits like Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away With Murder and is bringing back the competition for the mirrorball trophy with 27th season of Dancing with The Stars. However, most of the fall lineup is comprised of comedies such as Black-ish, Fresh Off The Boat, and The Goldbergs.

Other great fall TV shows include CBS classics such The Big Bang Theory, which premiered its 12th and final season on September 24th, and its spinoff Young Sheldon which premiered its 2nd season on September 24th. Both shows air regularly on Thursday nights at 8pm and 8:30pm respectively.

 

While the leaves start to fall and the air turns crisp, enjoy yourself with any of these great fall television shows and immerse yourself in another world. The major networks have compiled a lineup that is sure to please anybody whether they be into crime solving shows, comedies, or medical dramas, the fall TV lineup has something for everyone.
