As you all may know, SPRING BREAK IS HERE! Now, let’s put our excitement and energy aside and take a deep breath. Don’t forget you to pack your essentials for your trip, hangout, or vacation! Packing can be hard, so I’m here to help! Get READY with me for Spring Break!  Here are some essentials you will need for Spring Break! READY? LETS. 

Essential #1: Get a good breakfast READY with to-go snacks!Ever heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Well, you’ve heard that many times because it’s true! Breakfast should provide your energy for the rest of the day and should be taken as your first daily energy booster!I’m having for breakfast today an mushroom omelette, blackberries, and some bacon since I love bacon. I got my oranges from Pomona (try them out, Pomona is known for their orange trees) and coffee. And last but not least, samosas as a snack to carry with me throughout the day. I know I know, the calories! But hey. It’s spring break. Tip: Treat yoself. See nutrition facts below.

Nutrition Facts:Egg – good protein, fat, iron, vitamins, minerals

Mushroom – good protein, antioxidant, copper mineral

Blackberries – good sugars, antioxidants

Oranges – Vitamin C, antioxidant

Essentials #2: Have a cute dress and sandals READY!

Every girl needs to have a black everything dress. You have the capability of dressing up or down! Tip: Bring a cardigan in case it’s chilly at night.

Essentials #3: Have your to-go Accessories READY!

Hat – Target (I got it for $2!)

*Cheap* sunglasses – Laverne (got it for free! Check out booths on campus for free stuff!)

Tip: Take in notice CHEAP sunglasses. That means sunglasses that are inexpensive and ones that you probably wouldn’t mind breaking or losing. Having cheap sunglasses when you go out will ensure yourself having a good time WITHOUT losing your $100 Steve Madden sunglasses. Hey! It’s spring break. You’re going to forget things so be prepared for it!

Essentials #4: Have dry shampoo and Aloe Gel READY!Dry Shampoo in case you wake up with greasy hair and you need to grab and go out the door! Aloe Vera Gel in case for potential sunburn. I know girls we all about that tan skin, but hydrate up! The sun can be damaging!

Essential #5: Have a Laptop and a Buddy READY!

If you’re like me, you’re going to have times where you want time to yourself and time to watch movies! Or have sleepovers. Having a laptop or tv or even your phone is an essential to have a relaxing day at home.Catch up on the news, read blogs, watch YouTube, anything!Optional tip: Have a cuddle buddy! I have my cat, Simba with me to keep me company.

Now that we went over essentials, YOU ARE READY! HURRY! Grab your essentials and go! Be sure to have a fun-filled but safe Spring Break!
