Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is a well-established coffee company with over 15 years of business serving the highest quality gourmet coffee online and in over 65 retail locations. They pride themselves in offering American grown, 100% Hawaiian Kona coffee from Oahu, Kauai and Maui.

This place is a knockout. If you’ve never had Kona coffee before, I suggest you drive over there immediately and check it out. With over 15 different custom roasts and a large variety of lattes and espressos, you’re sure to find the drink to tingle your taste buds.

Each coffee combination has the option of being served hot, iced or blended (aka—you can make your own Frappuccino—FROM ANYTHING).

The location itself gives off a fun beachy atmosphere; all the décor revolves around the company’s Hawaiian roots. There are several tables and couches where customers can relax while drinking custom beverages. Of course Wi-Fi is available, so taking a study break here is no problem for any student.

For coffee, it’s on the more expensive end at approximately $4.50 per drink, but for the quality you’re getting, it’s a steal.

The staff at Bad Ass Coffee is very friendly and laid back. Everyone greets you with a smile and carries that Aloha spirit with them.

The only drawback to this place is the location. It’s a bit hidden so you may have a hard time finding it the first time, but once you do you’ll keep coming back for more.

Overall, I’d give this place a 4 out of 5 stars for overall experience. The place lives up to its name, because the coffee is seriously badass. Pure Kona coffee puts them on the map as one of the best.

So next time you’re looking for some island flair or you want to try some Kona for yourself, head over to Bad Ass Coffee. It truly is one of a kind.
