Netflix has recently added one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows iCarly. Seeing that made me so happy because I was obsessed with this show growing up. iCarly is a comedy about a girl named Carly who begins a webshow with her two best friends Sam and Freddie. Carly lives with her older brother Spencer because their Dad is stationed in the military.

Sam is her best friend who does not have a filter and just says anything and does not care what other people think of her. She is basically the opposite of Carly because Carly is friendly to everyone and cares about other people. Freddie is the technical producer for their show and has had the biggest crush on Carly since they were kids. Spencer is Carly’s older brother and he had originally wanted to go to law school, he goes for three days then drops out and becomes an artist. How did they start their webshow?

Well, it all started with Carly and Sam having to film talent Show auditions. They both got in trouble and are forced to complete this task. Freddie helps film the audition and as auditions are going on he starts to film Carly and Sam because he finds their conversation funny. He uploads onto a website called Splashface, which is the show’s version of Youtube. The video goes viral and the girls get comments like “You are hilarious, keep up the work, and give us more. Which led Carly to an idea about making a webshow, hence the name iCarly

Each week, they do silly acts such as pathetic plays, messin with Lewbert, random dancing, and many more. On occasion they have their good friend named Gibby come on the show to participate. Gibby is one of those characters where he really does not make sense but he makes the show so funny.

Their webshow becomes insanely popular as the series goes on. Everytime I watch the show I laugh as much as I did when I was a kid. If you want to watch something entertaining go onto Netflix and watch iCarly. The first two seasons are on Netflix and I hope they put the rest of the series on.

I am an artist who uses art to express myself. My life quote is “stay positive”. My goal is to make a positive influence in people’s lives.
