Your First Week of Freshman Year as Told By Disney

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at KU chapter.

This is it- your first week of college. You’re packed and ready to start your life and you’re about to experience a lot of firsts and a lot of first-time feelings like:

You’re here! Campus is gorgeous and you’re moving into your dorm today!

You get to your dorm room- how do you fit it all in?

And your parents look at you and say “We have to go now.”

You’re sad for a moment… and then realize you have your whole life ahead of you!

Then you meet your roommate and it’s so exciting!

Okay. You’re on your own. It’s time to get out there.

But first- food!

And now to head to some activities.

You get to Unionfest and see all the craziness- but it’s so exciting!

But you get to sign up for organizations and meet people!

It’s the night before classes- and a professor sends out a five-page long syllabus.

But who cares? This is college. You can do this.

You wake up! It’s your first day of classes! Time to get out there.

You have your first class and you do the same old ice breaker- tell me a fun thing about yourself.

And you try to do your first days reading but it ends up more like…

But this is it. This is college. And you’re ready for the best four years of your life.
