Little Women is a timeless classic, originally written by Louisa May Alcott, and since adapted into many movies, plays, musicals, and other books. It is one of my favorite fall comfort movies, and I personally have a strong attachment to the March sisters because I once played the role of Jo in a production of the musical version of Little Women. It was through this experience, though, as well as my many rewatches of Greta Gerwig’s 2019 Little Women movie, that I realized the true uniqueness of each of the four sisters. I think that everyone has one sister that speaks to them the most, and the sister that resonates with you reveals a lot about your personality.
Meg
If your favorite March sister is Meg, you are also probably an eldest child, especially an eldest daughter (though not all eldest daughters are Megs). You are a romantic and you care for others really deeply; love and strong relationships are the most important thing in the world to you. You tend to avoid conflict, but you’re still very headstrong and good at knowing what you want and going after it.
Jo
If your favorite March sister is Jo, you definitely have a fiery side to you. You are determined and you feel everything extremely deeply; when you love, you love hard, which can also be your downfall. You have a creative streak and you’re often lost in your own world. You are often scared of getting too close to other people and hurting them, or afraid of how intense your own feelings can be, but you’re still kind, forgiving, and independent after the dust settles.
Beth
If you favorite March sister is Beth, you embody the feeling of whimsy. You are kind, creative, and gentle, and you care extremely deeply about others. You can manage your emotions well, or even when you feel like you can’t, you probably have an outlet like playing an instrument, drawing, etc. that helps you do so. You are optimistic and see the best in people, often serving as a conflict mediator.
Amy
If your favorite March sister is Amy, you are probably a youngest or only child (but, like Meg, not all youngest/only children are Amys). While you thrive on competition and may have difficulty keeping your emotions in check, you are still very thoughtful and caring. Those you love truly mean everything to you, and you likely have very strong drive to be the best version of yourself. You may be impulsive, yet unapologetic and adventurous.
