Although it doesn’t feel like it here in the Midwest, spring is around the corner. Let’s focus on the awesomeness of spring being so close instead of the current coldness because spring is the greatest season. I know this is up for debate with the free time of summer and the beauty of the fall, but spring takes the cake for many reasons. I hope you are enjoying the weather if it already feels like spring where you are. If not, you have something to look forward to.

It can’t be denied that there’s an energy to spring after the long winter ends. It feels like there’s new life in air.

I love all the growth of spring. Specifically, I love the flowers. Flowering trees and bushes are so beautiful, and they are everywhere in my hometown. I’m excited to see that in my college town. The world looks brighter with the flowers everywhere. It makes the air smell nice and when the petals start to fall, the world looks like a dramatic scene in a romantic comedy.

Fall is often noted for having awesome weather because it’s not too hot nor cold, but spring also has the perfect inbetween weather. The new warmth also brings this feel of rebirth because after such a long time of below freezing weather, the warmth feels freeing. You emerge from all the layers of clothes like a butterfly with from a cocoon, which literally happens in spring.

Spring is definitely the best season and I hope everyone can enjoy it wherever they’re spending spring break.
