The Perfect Songs to “Drive Around” to this Summer

Like most people who grew up in the Midwest, Kansas specifically, a popular evening pass time in the summer is to just “drive around”. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this, the perfect “drive around” conditions are:

Windows: down

Sun: setting

Music: UP

And friends in the front and back is a must.

Over the years, my friends and I have built the perfect (unofficial) playlist. Of course, this changes situationally, depending on where you’re driving, the mood, and if you’re actually driving. Contrary to initial belief, to “drive around”, you don’t have to actually drive. You can go to some location, sit and observe. Some of my favorite mems are star watching or sitting at the lake, talking or just listening to music.
