My “Walking to Class Hype Up” Playlist

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at KU chapter.

Earbuds in, world out. That is my motto walking to class on campus every day. Seriously, it’s not that I’m trying to look like an antisocial loner, but I genuinely need music to put some pep in my step. Some days, it takes all I have in me to get up out of my comfy bed engulfed in 10 layers of blankets and too many pillows to count just to go sit in an uncomfortably cramped desk listening to a professor drone on. Safe to say, I need a few jams on my way to class to hype me up. Even if the actual class is incredibly boring, you could at least make the walk there enjoyable with these tunes.

I always make sure to have my “walking to class hype up” playlist to get me in the right mood. Though it changes up, this playlist always consists of empowering and energetic songs. They range from oldies and classics to the newest singles out there, just depending on what music I’m vibing with at the moment.
