Mixing prints. Often the bane of every fashion lover’s existence, but also the object of all their desires (sorry, I had to Bridgerton fans). However, it’s a lot easier than you think. So, here are some tips and tricks.

  1. Find similar colors in the prints and match them.

I find black to be the easiest color to do this with because it’s a dark and basic color, but feel free to go bold and do a blue or red too. Fashion has no rules!

  1. Balance out with a solid.

Say you are wearing a patterned top with a plaid bottom. Put on a solid belt or jacket to balance out the look, while accessorizing.

  1. Try mixing one big print and one small print.

The different sizes of prints can help make your look less busy and more pleasing to the eye. Remember, with mixing prints, it’s all about balance.

  1. Explore online!

Pinterest, TikTok, TV and movies are great for style inspiration. One show that does a really good job at mixing prints is Gossip Girl.

Have fun with your all print-mixing adventures!
