Stop with the games. Stop pretending. Stop making up different circumstances in your mind. Enough with the “what ifs.” The cold, hard truth: he’s just not that into you.
If he doesn’t respond to your texts: it’s not because he’s busy (when you know for damn sure that in the past twenty-four hours he’s liked all the posts on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Instagram). He’s not trying to make you want him more by waiting days to respond. If that is the kind of tactic he’s pulling on you, he isn’t mature enough for you anyway. Move on.
If he’s hanging out with other girls, he wants to spend time with them instead of you. It’s not to make you jealous. If a guy never asks you to hang out, he’s not waiting for you to ask him to hang out. If he was really that interested in you, he’d ask. He’d take the initiative, even if he’s shy or busy. If someone likes you, they will MAKE time for you because they WANT to spend time with you. If he sends one word responses to your texts, it’s not because he is just a bad texter or he is “shy.” He’s just not that into you.
You deserve a guy who is honest about his feelings for you. Girl! If he’s not straight up with you, don’t waste your time. You are valuable and your TIME is valuable. I’m not sorry that I’m harsh. I want you to feel like you’re a queen who deserves her king or queen because you ARE a QUEEN and that IS what you deserve.

Please, I beg you, do NOT sell yourself short. I’m sure you go to your girls all the time for their advice on how to decode conversations and behaviors of the boys you’re dreaming over. If he’s giving you negative signs, there’s typically not much more to it than that. Don’t let your mind convince your heart that they’re actually positive signs. You can twist anything if you really try.
You are so much stronger than that. How do I know? Because you’re here now and I am sure as hell that you’ve been through difficult things in your lifetime that you’ve had to be strong through. Your king is out there, but if you get side-tracked by the guys who you spend your crucial study time trying to understand, you’re not going to find your king.
